Thirteen students took the next major step in their professional lives by committing to jobs in their chosen Career and Technical Education fields of study, a military career or secondary education in their chosen field.
Students competed in timed events tied to their Nassau BOCES programs, along with leadership and professional development challenges. Seven earned first place, three took second, and eight placed third in their competitions.
They were honored for their grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness. Students of the Quarter have taken the initiative on class projects and are role models for their fellow students, in both the classroom and the workplace.

To honor and recognize the far-reaching impact that Dr. Dillon had on education, several students were awarded $1,600 in scholarships by the Nassau BOCES Educational Foundation through the Dr. Robert R. Dillon Awards, presented in memory of the former Nassau BOCES District Superintendent.
