The students, from ten school districts across Nassau County, were named Students of the Quarter at GC Tech career and technical education high school. They were honored for their grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness. Students of the Quarter have taken the initiative on class projects and are role models for their fellow students, in both the classroom and the workplace.
Bellmore-Merrick CHSD student Andi Chicas-Marcos is studying Automotive Technology. Bethpage UFSD student Braeden Gorman is studying Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, while Annemarie Hazarian is a Cosmetology student. East Meadow UFSD student Vanessa Milici is also studying Cosmetology. Hicksville UFSD student Stefano Sabatino is studying Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
Island Trees student Jesse Bonura is studying Automotive Technology and Jake Pergola is studying Construction Electricity. Six Levittown students earned the honor: Keyla Gonzalez and Victoria Sepulveda, both of whom are studying to become Emergency Medical Technicians; Antonia Bruno and Natalie Lajara, who are Medical Assisting students; John Darcy, who is studying Automotive Technology; and Construction Electricity student Jack Healy.
Gabriella Lopez of the Long Beach CSD is an Esthetics student. Massapequa UFSD student Marisa Valvo also studied Esthetics, while Matthew Wipperman is an Automotive Technology student. Plainview-Old Bethpage CSD student Elisaveth Karantais is studying Cosmetology, as is Wantagh UFSD student Gabriella Cardone.
